table plan

how do you make a table plan? I have planed who is sitting where but i need to give the caterers a table plan of who is sitting where?

Are you just wanting a working copy for the caters or a display copy for the guests too?
For the working copy for our caters I just did it in Word. Our tables were long ones so that helped. You can even just write it out by hand.
If you are thinking about a display one then they are relatively easy to do - although can be time consuming.
I printed the names for ours on purple paper then stuck that on ivory card. I then mounted lilac ribbon around them and added little roses and butterflies using double sided craft tape from Hobbycraft.

I used a template from the internet to lay out the wording (just type "table plan template" in google)
I don't know when you are getting married but I would say leave it as long as possible because some people may drop out last minute.

I'm just doing the working copy at the min as the catereers have asked fr it so that they can send out final invoive!
I get married in 3 weeks so will start thinking about the display one soon! We are using chalk board though so i guess worst case i'll just rub it out
