what underwear to wear?

Ok, i'm having a nightmare finding underwear that I like - that is affordable too.
I am wearing this dress:

I really want something that is flattering - I struggle with some Basques because they are two short and cut into my lumps and bumps! I'm a size 12-14.
As the dress is quite fitted down to my lower hips maybe something that 'shapes me' but is still traditionally sexy if that makes sense?

You might not need any! I thought Maggie dresses had a full corset bodice that pulls you in in all the right places? My cousin has one a few years back and she didn't have anything on underneath other than knickers.
We just laced up the back nice and tight, especially at the waist. They loosen up a bit as you wear them, she said. 0 -

have you thought about a long line corset?
that will work really well with that sort of dress
you can have it attached to stockings to add some sexyness and will smooth out everything
something like this (just found this after a quick google not used this seller before or anything)

if you are a bit hippy (shape not beliefs lol) then maybe a

would be good so then when you take off the dress you are in a mini skirt with the corset and stockings
so still sexy but also smoothing and gives you a good shape under that gorgeous dress!!!!

I haveheard that Maggie dresses are very good for pulling you in and supporting you in the right places! If you did need anything else though, I am getting a corselette by What Katie Did - it's basically a long corset which stopsjust under your bum. Very vintage-looking and a heck of a lot sexier than a flesh-coloured sausage-skin pair of shorts-type garment! You can get girdles as well if you just want somethingto smooth your hips a bit.

My dress has been fitted with cups so that I don't have to wear a bra and I've decided to wear cut off leggings as I don't want to end up with a nasty case of chafing lolDEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN

Oooooooooo this is also my dress

When I tried it on last week I took a bridal strapless bra that I had bought as I wanted some support as I am quite big chested. So I put the bra on and it made me look funny and feel uncomfortable as the dress is already boned very well. So now I've ditched the bra and I've just bought myself some fancy knickers to wear so I would advise that u don't need any extra support. luckily I bought the bra off eBay so it was cheap so might be worth trying there so that if it doesn't look right/feel comfortable then you can ditch it and not feel too guilty.
Hope that helps
I :heart2: saving money0
