cheap digital camera

can anyone recommend a reasonable digital camera cheapish though for my daughter who just wants to snap photos to put on myspace/website etc

  • What do you call cheapish? If you're looking at under the £100 mark, consider a Canon Powershot A430 (review at http://www.steves-digicams.com/2006_reviews/a430.html ).

    I've had the older A400 for a couple of years and it's exceeded my expectations, but these had been lowered by the dire Kodak that it replaced.

    It takes SD cards, which are dirt cheap now. It's a little chunky but that's because it takes standard AA rechargeable batteries. Have a look at 7dayshop.com for the memory card and batteries.

    I bought mine from the Fuji web-site if you look in their refurb section they have some bargains, mine was brand new but last years model.
