    In short - we are all Disneyworld, Florida nutters. Abbreviations on here:

    SSR = Saratoga Springs Resort (hotel)
    AKL = Animal Kingdom Lodge (hotel)
    DDP = Disney Dining Plan
    DVC = Disney Vacation Club (Timeshare)

    Definitely want to be one - can't afford to be one!!!
  • quick exciting update - to anyone that ordered the oakleys at the glitched prices on the night i posted this thread, you must've received about 4 cancellation emails (their systems went crazy) but today they've emailed saying they're honouring the deal after all (yay!) and not only that, going a step further and giving them out FREE:j:j:j:j due to their website pricing challenge!!! a big shout out to the oakley customer service team. initially went back on their word but turned it around and really made amends. so oakley juliets worth £340 for £0 :)! i'll be donating the glitched price i intended to pay (£140) to charity as it only seems fair.
    hope everyone that ordered in time gets their free emails soon.

    I'm soooo excited, roll on Saturday. I have discovered ordering from Amazon.com to be delivered to SSR - 3 orders so far and another order at Garden Grocer.

    Sorry to hijack the thread a bit (and wow fantastic well done to those who got this glitch! Hubby is cursing repeatedly that I didn't see it in time :o) but to the Dibbers on here I have a question;

    I believe this question isn't allowed on the Dibb, and I hope it's allowed here: are there any other recommended sites for hiring a villa? I've searched the Dibb for a villa at Formosa Gardens but the 3 on there are all 7+ bedrooms and £++++! We only need 3 bedrooms! I don't want to just Google it and hope for the best as that would be terrifying. I'd LOVE a Dibb villa but I'm struggling to find one that fits, so am prepared to look at other sites IF they're recommended.

    Many thanks in advance, hope I haven't committed a mortal sin by even asking the question :D

    I can't help I'm afraid I always stay onsite at Disney or Universal, there is a Florida thread on here in the Overseas holidays forum but I would be careful booking anywhere without checking thoroughly first.

    Is there another area near to Formosa Gardens that you might be interested in, perhaps asking for similar positioned villas on the dibb might be an option.

    I think alot of the properties on FG are larger bedroomed houses..however I always use home away holiday rentals (we go 6 weeks each year in 2 trips) and as long as you read the reviews and check the tax register to confirm they are the owner and all taxes/mortgages up to date then you should be ok..we have for the last 5 years!
