Ok
If a CCJ is not paid and the creditor has not enforced it, after 6 years (after the date of the CCJ), they have to go to court to get permission to pursue it. They are unlikely to get permission.
A CCJ is a County Court Judgement, which if taken out before the 6 years is up allows the creditor another 6 years to get you to pay.
CCJs wreck your credit rating for 6 years from the date they are taken out.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
You need to sort out the debts and CCJs before rebuilding your credit score. Go talk to the bank about getting a basic account and savings account set up and speak to some free, independent debt advice people to get some help. CAB may also be an option.
If any of the debts are in also your partner's name then contact the company and give them an address for him. It might also be worth putting an note on your credit file to explain.
You do not need the bank to get a credit report, do it online, you just need to contact them to confirm who you are, they will not call the ballifs. from there work out what debts you have.

But i dont want my ex to find out where i am, he is a schedule 1 offender. I have moved counties and only now after all these years feel safe, i cant risk him finding me.0 -
Hi
Starting points:
The Registry Trust on-line is a public record - he can see that but it will list your old address which he knows anyway. You can search it without anyone needing to know where you currently live.
No credit check is done when you open a basic bank account; you can do this without your ex finding your current address.
Have you made sure that you tick the private record box when you fill in the Electoral Register? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Hi
I joined creditexpert.co.uk so that I can regularly keep an eye on what is going on, having buried my head in the sand for the first couple of years after I split with my ex. It is 6.99 a month but money well spent because I can keep on top of things and now have an action plan - as other's have mentioned any of the debts you haven't acknowledged for 6 years will be statute barred anyway.
If you can't find any templates on here inbox me and I will send you the letter templates I have used.
Good Luck

RBS Charging Order - £27.900, Mortgage - £163,167 (Interest Free)TARGET - Pay of CC's and overpay Loan, then attack O/D, then save money to make an offer on RBS and finally overpay mortgage when all other debts are cleared.:A:money::j0 -

Well at least you now know that none of the CCJs are listed against you at the current address and your public record is safe.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
