How difficult is it to get through the YBS process?

We have had our mortgage Accepted in Principal by YBS. I am a little nervous though because I can only complete the application once I have identified and agreed an offer on the house in question.
(Ideally I would have liked the full mortgage application, and all the paperwork complete beforehand).
Has anyone else gone through the YBS application process? If so, how long did it take, and were there any problems along the way?
At the moment I can see two potential sticking points:

At the moment I can see two potential sticking points:
- My salary slips show the post-sacrifice gross salary, so I am going to have to send separate documentation confirming true gross salary.
- OH has another mortgage, but this has been fully declared during the initial application.
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.
