Hi
I've just checked my credit report and need some help!
I've been debt free for a while now, but some are still showing as defaulted on my credit report. Can anyone advise how to update this?
Thanks x

The defaults remain on your file for 6 years from the date they were issued.0

If the debts have been paid off they should show as satisfied defaults for the remainder of the 6year timescale from when they were issued. If they don't show as satisfied chase up your creditor to update the file.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Thanks Trixy
They are still showing a balance owed so I guess I have to speak to the scary debt people again! x0
