Just wanted to add to what others have said about how you've done so well. I can completely agree with feeling like your 20s are passing oyu by and you're fed up feeling like this. I was looking at some photos last night of me 2 years ago, and I looked great- just thinking why don't I ever feel it at teh time...just constantly beat myself up about things and never see the whole picutre - :rolleyes:

NOt really helping you here - sorry - what I mean to say is lots of :kisses: and :grouphug: :grouphug: to you. I really hope you feel better soon. Is there anyway that you could treat yourself or get a break at all? A night on the tiles etc?

Hi SS just spotted this and I'm really sorry to hear you're feeling so down hun..you are the inspiration behind a lot of people's personal battles with their debts and its sad for us to see you hitting a wall like this especially as I haven't got any sparkling and witty remarks up my sleeve with which to cheer you up :doh: Just wanted to say thinking of you and hoping you get back to your old self soon

Hey horsehead. Really sorry that you are feeling a bit down in the dumps at the moment. Perhaps you are being too hard on yourself with your overpayments and should have a bit more flexibility with your budget, I dont think it hurts to take a bit of time off ocasionally.

I seem to recall that your minimum payments are quite high each month? Rather than it being a case of you just overpaying. Could you take a holiday or have some time to recoup?

If there is anything I can do (aside from give you all my money!) :rolleyes: then just ask, would be happy to help, its a shame to see you down when you are usually the life and the soul of the MSE boards!!

I may be new here, but have been lurking for over a year, and cannot tell you how many times you've made me laugh when I've been really down and raging about the debt I'm in.

If I can just do a fraction for you that you've done for me I'd be absolutely thrilled to bits. Don't be so hard on yourself, chill and enjoy yourself, you only have one life! and if you make it unbearable, you'll only rebel and cause more damage to your finances in the long run. Believe me, I've been there.

PS And if I remember correctly, you are going to be in Martin's Book, how WOW is that!
