Which lob card are you looking at? Some cards offer to match your highest credit limit.

    What's the APR on it?

It's messy! Got a small balance on 3.9% but transferred outside the intro period not realising and am paying about 16% on that! :wall:

Well, if the remaining space on it is at 16% I'd lower it. Reduces temptation!! If the remaining space is at 3% then keep it. Decisions decisions!!

Nah the rest is at 16% odd. My only concern is that it affects my rating in as much that my balances are a high percentage of my available credit!

I was just looking at the % on your remaining debts (you posted the other day).. Mine are very similar to yours.. (the cards)..

What I wanted to ask was how your %'s are so low.. all mine are about there in the top teens grrrrrrr

    Eupho :o

Edited to add: Ohh I just looked again.. Is it because my credit limits are much higher?

I always go for low life of balance cards! The Amex and Barclaycard are quite recent ones (within 6 months) and the Morgan Stanley and Cap One a few years old! Would have had 3.9% on my Cap One aswell if I wasn't such a d!ck! :rotfl:

Have you applied for any/many?

Low life balance cards? No I thought although im not in trouble yet (AMAZINGLY since im still kicking around the 34G mark! I havent missed payments etc) I do have alot of cards.. and they all have big limits and are all close to their max (tho I havent used them for months).. So I doubt with all that anyone will touch me. :o

    Ps.

The 34G was not bra size ;)

    Damn! :p

Well I though that aswell! Initially had a right touch with Cap One coz they gave me a limit of £10,300 which at the time meant I could transfer all my credit card debt to them at 3.9%! :j

What about 0% cards? Have you applied for them?

I used to go for 0% cards but after the intro period I was getting stuck with high APR's due to not being accepted for another one. Low life balances all the way for me from now on! :D

Is there any reason you haven't applied for any? Could save you a tonne in interest?
