I do occasionally gor for a drink after work and those kids are forever prising money out of me. I didn't see it like that.
And every Friday we do get a takeaway - now yous all can see why I am in such bad debt - I'm usless with money, I'm going to keep a spending diary starting today.

RE: The takeaway, we used to have a takeaway once a week until we realised it was costing us anywhere from £40- £80 a month, we still have a proper takeaway once every month, but rather than feeling as if we are missing out, we get pizzas from Tesco/Sainsbury, or we cook some fish or chicken and have chips from the chip shop, just an idea that we have tried and it has saved quite a bit of money.

If you are in social housing your water bill is probably paid in with your rent.

Children are a nightmare, in December alone, I had to pay out £30 to the school for various activities, it is hard, but it will get better.
