Can I move mortgage product between exchange and completion?

Hello, this is my first post so apologies if it's in the wrong place. I hope that one of you may be able to offer advice as I am in the process of buying a new house. I was offered a mortgage through the post office at 4.29% and we exchanged contracts a couple of weeks ago. We're due to complete on 2nd Sept. I have noticed today that the same mortgage now has a rate if 4.05% and I wondered if I can ask for that rate as we haven't actually received the money yet? Does anyone know if this is likely to be allowed?
Thank you

Yep you will be allowed to change up until you complete I.e when the money is drawn.
You'll probably have to pay a new product fee however.0
