jobs - dont know what to do

im in a bit of a pickle. currently i work two days a week which change every week for a total of 20 hours for a bog standard job, 20 minutes on the bus away. i worked for the same employer at uni but transferred back home so dont have fixed hours. i dont earn a massive amount but its enough to pay my bills and put a little away for now.
my problem is that ive been interviewing for other jobs in my chosen career and its likely that im going to be offered one next week. all good. until you know that its a 2.5 hour journey away and per hour pays less (nearer minimum wage) than the job i have now because its an entry level position. my travel costs would go from £9 a week for my current job to £110+ a week for the new one.
i did an internship at uni with a similar commuting time and by the end of the month i was sick as a dog and completely run down. but there arent that many entry level jobs available now so i dont want to miss an opportunity, but likewise i dont want to take the job and end up not being able to perform at my best which would make taking it pointless anyway!
please help!

Depends what you want to do. Do you want to work in your chosen career and start from the bottom, if so then apply but stick it out. How come you were " sick as a dog and completely run down" ?0

i was traveling for six hours a day and then working in an intensive job that requires a lot of concentration for 8/10/12 hours a day. it wasnt a great thing to be doing but i got a great reference and some much needed and worthwhile experience. but the downside was it did run me into the ground and i dont think thats sustainable.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Does your health or career matter more to you and are there other ways into your chosen career that are open to you if moving to get started isn't an option?0

Hi,
Speaking as someone who eperienced the ability of leaving a job on friday and walking into another on monday - anyone else remember those days? - I'd say these days you need to think about where you want to be in 5, 10, 20 years time and do whatever it takes to get there.
Whatever you do , don't do any more internships. There are plenty of companies using graduates as free labour, taking on new interns as the others finish their 6 month stint.
Maybe you should stay in the job you're in for now and continue looking. This has given you the opportunity to really focus on what you want from your work life and the means to work out how to go about getting it.
Good luck with whatever you decideNat West CC,£2112.83 Nat West BankA/C £441.48 Egg Money £15?? Alliance & Leicester £546.92
