Capital Gains Calculator for share purchases

in Cutting tax
I regularly buy shares and funds outside of my ISA wrapper. I buy shares every month with occasional top-ups. To manage my capital gains I need to make occasional disposals within my capital gains tax allowance (currently £8,800).
I am in the middle of writing an Excel spreadsheet for calculating capital gains made when shares are bought and sold. This is an absolute minefield. But now I have most of the basics in place and working, including.
- share matching rules (except the B&B rule, not done yet).
- management of section 104 pool and indexation rules
- calculation of taper relief.
This project is still a "work in progress" and there is a bit more to do before it is finished. If anyone would like to help with this please let me know. The spreadsheet contains visual basic macros so you will need to be very familiar with them.

It seems pretty good to me - you could compare the results it generates to those of your spreadsheet0
