Chester registrars - what do they need to know? (Sammy are you there??)

Sammy - or anybody else who's got/getting married using Chester registrars - what do they need to know/see in advance? We're having two readings - do they want to see the readings? Can we just give them the titles? I'm choosing one of our readings but the other will be chosen by a friend and I want it to be a surprise. But if I have to get the thing for the registrar it's going to take some working so I don't actually get to read it!
And same for music - do they just need to know the names of the songs? Or to have copies so they can make sure there's no religious stuff in them? If they'd normally just ask for the song titles we will have one problem as one of them is a song OH wrote for me so the title will mean nothing to them (though they could track it down on Youtube!)
I know that different registrars all ask different things so the various comments I've had from friends living in several different parts of the country are just muddling my head and no help at all

when we went for the final meeting we met Carol (she was the one that conducted our marriage---
She asked if we had chosen our songs (we had) and she just reminded us that they can't be hymns-- they did not want to see lyrics or even the song titles
we took the words to our reading-- my dad's girlfriend read one-- and we asked the registrar if they could read one for us (this was no problem)- they took a copy of the words for the one they were reading for us so they had that--- but if we weren't asking this- then they didnt want the words
in the final meeting she ran through all of the vows- and if we wanted extra bits- this will be outlined in the booklet you got from them- we had a couple of extra things
they will also talk you through what happens before- so you arrive and they want to talk to you and finalise details (you name, dob)
hope that helps
