I've just signed up on the clubcard scheme. In the terms and conditions it looks like you would get the same number of points of either clubcard or shoppers points. Clubcard then works like normal clubcard points, so if you use the points for deals, then this works out best. Shopper points work the same as if you spend points in tescos but you get high street vouchers, so for £10 worth of points you would get a £10 high street voucher or a £10 clubcard voucher. To me the clubcard points are worth the most as I always use them for deals, so a £10 voucher is worth £30, but if you don't use them for deals then you might prefer shopping vouchers.
Plus the clubcard points come in your statement as usual, so if you have only earned 150 points in a quarter, you still get them. With the shopping vouchers, you have to earn 1000 before you get your £10 voucher.
    Sorry for the long-winded explanation!
Also it says you can't change scheme once you have decided, so make your mind up first!
  • Anyone still earning points - or are you just getting the chance to win points?

Got an invite today and just signed up! Hopefully it proves to be worthwhile on the Clubcrad points.

It is called 'Orchard' at Tesco, and the e-mail address is Online@mailing.tesco.com so definitely genuine :) I too have been invited, perhaps because I am with BzzAgent? I hope so anyway as I get lots of nice bits :D
