Hi
I need your help to improve my financial in 2007:
I am currently earning 16k per annual and my partner is looking for employment at the moment.
I have recently bought a house with 5-years fixed rate mortgage (Halifax) - (Hope it is a good deal)
I pay 30 quids for NTL which provides broadband, Extra channels and free call on weekend (I am happy with the deal so far despite few teething problem with broadband as I had to make a lot of call and Im hoping to get compensation)
I use Powergen for electricity and gas bill (Is it a good deal?)
My unmarried partner is expecting a kid in August/July which will cause problem in looking for job - (Do we get any income to support my kid?) Be aware that we are both deaf.
I don't have any pension at this stage however I am currently saving my money for bathroom/kitchen, damp proof/replastering and house decoration. So I manage to save up three grands but need to get 12k more.
My wage goes to Halifax Current Account monthly (Is it good bank account or I can find it better somewhere?)
I have two quids in my bloody instant saving account!!! :embarasse
I would appreicate to hear your help asap (Martian Lewis can help me out too)
Thank you and Happy new year
