I was doing spreadsheets last night (one of my new years resolutions to track every single penny of money spent) and worked out the following
on my largest debt i reduced it by 9.09%
on my second largest debt i reduced it by 16.05%
and my smallest debt 34.83%
meaning overall my debt reduced by 14.15%
if i can pay off the same amount in 2007 the percentage will be 16.48%
considering i used to only do minimum repayments my DFD is getting closer than it has ever been

Hi there
I started using percentages for my debt a few months ago and I find them really helpful in seeing where I am
So, in 2006 I paid 48.8% off my debt and the remainder 51.2% will be paid in 2007
Good luck with your target!Leason learnt :beer:0 -

I paid 50% off my debt but as that was in part down to an inheritance from my Dad's estate, I cannot claim the credit for it all.
However, I aim to reduce my debt by 20% this year to get it under £40k. That would suit me!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Not really, no, as I said above, a lot of mine came from a one off payment that I got from my Dad's estate. If I were to try and work out my own hard work reductions, I would be at the bottom of the pile, with only 1 or 2% paid off because each month I would have to re-use the available credit on my cards etc that I had just paid off, simply to keep going!

We've cleared 24% alone since middle of october.. but when you add regular payments etc I'd estimate the true figure is around 30-35%Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
