It depends completely upon the terms of the loan agreement and / or the PPI policy.

I have a first plus loan in which i pay ppi, when I go on maternity can I take a loan break?

You do realise that the PPI only covers you for 5 years dont you but you pay for it over the whole of the loan term?
E.g. £11,000 PPI, circa £100 a month on a 25 year loan = £30,000
Irrespective of the cashback (assuming you never miss a payment) it's still costing you the best part of £20,000.
Get it reclaimed, it's not worth the paper its written on.0
