Went today to my local store at Renfrew and they refused to honor claiming that we needed a slip with our friends name and branch number on it

We went to JJB today and when I mentioned it to the girl on the till she asked me for the name of the staff member I knew...... I said that I just thought that it was for anyone and she got her Manager who just accepted "Friends and Family" and gave me 20% off:j so really happy with my £12. saving:)

Can't understand why it isn't the same in all stores though.

Just order online for free pick-up at the same shop. Plus if you're with Quidco or similar you might* get an extra 8% cashback that you wouldn't get by paying in the shop...

*I'm not 100% sure if you still get the cashback if you use a promo code, but you have nothing to lose!

Having worked in retail for many years its down to poor communication. There are a lot of part time staff on at weekends and if management not done their job and passed info on, then you always get an awkward one hehe

Just tried this at my local store, and they told me I need a voucher!? I even showed them the promo on my phone but they didnt want to know.

I have sent a complaint into head office.
