I'm in my PJ's intermittently surfing the net and cleaning (there is alot to do - can't believe I am doing it on the last day of freedom) feeling good about the New Year and so another NSD for me (third in a row) - I like these threads about how much you spend, really encouraging to keep it low.

Bough a couple of morning papers
Daily Mail (45p)- I'm collecting Doulton vouchers and there's a voucher for £2.60 off Jan Tatler
    Times (65p) - 2 vouchers totalling £3.60

The vouchers from both papers will scan in Tesco and go towards grocery shop on Friday.

    Total spend £1.10 - total vouchers £6.20 :D

Can you use any vouchers in Tescos?

I have spent £2.10 on milk. The same amount of milk would have cost me £1.38 in my normal shop but it's closed today:mad:

  • Hi guys

Have been lurking on this board for quite some time now, and have finally decided to start posting.

I will have a no spend day today as I'm still at home and haven't been out today.

I gave up smoking 3 weeks ago and have kitchen cupboards full to bursting with food and freezer stuffed to the top with food, so hopefully will have a couple of very low spend months to look forward to, now just have to silence the "MUST BUY STUFF AND FOOD (even if I already have it!)" demon. PS I only have myself to feed etc. So shouldn't be a problem! LOL Down with the demon!
