Another £5 from surveys to add, total so far £65.27. Just requested another tenner from surveys that should come in before the end of the month, i'll wait for it to arrive before I add it. Really need to put some bits and pieces on ebay and gumtree!

I'm doing a USA and downgrading!!! Am taking the change jar out of my total, cos I won't be putting it into the bank yet so it doesn't feel like saved money. I'm also taking £2.93 out because I bought a DVD bundle using paypal and regular account cos I reckon I could watch them, split the joblot down and get a few pennies more from selling them individually. Still leaves me on £62.18 so am still ahead of target!
Just found 1p in a box, so £62.19.
Edit: D'oh...the 1p went in the change jar...so it's off the total again!
    £10 a day in November = £593.31 / £300

We're season ticket holders and rather than paying us some petrol money he bought us tickets :)

Went to Sainsbury's and saved £7.50 by using some of my nectar points. I also bought loose apples and pears instead of pre-packed and saved a little there. No idea how much though.

A few more pennies to add, £4 off a scratch (minus £1 cost) and £1 in coppers paid into the bank....they hate taking the coppers at the bank and I seem to be trawling in there weekly with my bags :D Forgot about my final ebay item that I posted today another 1.78

I cancelled my Sky subscription today :)... yes I am greedy and had both BT Vision and Sky  :o
To be fair, the Sky was only £5 a month and I only had it so I could carry on using my Sky+ box to record things. I managed to get a freeview box and dish installed very cheaply last week thanks to the Digital Swichover team, so I can now cancel Sky - and sell my Sky+ box :D

Had the box, plus a few other things ready for eBaying but realised this afternoon that I no longer have an eBay account! :( I've been on ebay for around 7 years, but fell out with them a few months ago as some buyer tried to rip me off... and ebay's answer was to pay them, and then bill me for it
As it was eBay.com rather than .uk they could only bill me for it and not just take it like they can on .uk - I point blank refused to pay, explained why (and what actually happened) and left it at that.
They suspended my seller account and send me a bill every month - I ignore the bill and use my mum's account, lol. Only prob is, my mum is now sick of constant emails from buyers so I'm banned from selling on her account now too!

I set a new one up today and have [STRIKE]wasted[/STRIKE] spent the afternoon bidding on and buying lots of little things that I actually need, along with all kinds of junk that costs hardly anything, so I can build my feedback up a bit. Bought 6 things at 1p with free postage  I don't understand why sellers (all from China) give things away like that??? Most of them have 10,000+ feedback so it must have cost them a fortune over the years!!!

I have 2 feedbacks already ;), but also have that little yellow 'New person' icon next to my name - which doesn't look good. I am tempted to just buy things for the next month and start selling when I have a bit more feedback and have lost my newbie status, as I'm worried that it may put people off a bit.
I tend to buy little things from new sellers, but don't usually risk buying more expensive items as I don't want the hassle if they turn out to be time wasters/con artists. What does everyone else think about buying from new sellers???
  • Just renewed the house insurance and it came in £11.40 below what I'd budgeted for it...so that goes in to the savings! :j

  • Sorry for late reply. Only just noticed this message. I'll be fine as i aways am! No point in complaining as no one listens! Lol.

Anyway.... £4 saved from my shopping at Tesco (had a £4 off £30 spend voucher). Since i've been off work i've been doing a load of surveys. Recieved £20 worth of vouchers today. Got some stuff on ebay but not due to end for a few days yet. But there are some bids already so i'm sure i'll get there!

Hope everyone is well xxx Better update my signature! xxx
