MiniCredit - GOD BEWARE OF THEM
This is posted on behalf of my partner to warn others to beware of this company.
My partner tried to roll back his loan for one month went onto their site to do so, unable to sign on due to system update. Their system was unavailable for the whole day, he spoke to them 3 times that day and was told they could not take a payment over the phone or roll his loan over to the next month. They confirmed he would not be charged for late payment because their system was unavailable. Now one week on, he was charged £55 next day, money being taken from his account, 3 lots of £5.50 for credit checks!!!!, £25 late charge fee. They are very rude on the phone, they contradict themselves, they deny he even phoned them and now we are going to contact the financial ombudsman and get them to take up his case. Disgusting firm DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!!!!!!

Like all the payday loan companies say,
"If you are in any doubt about your ability to repay, do not apply"
I'm sure they would have been fine if you had repaid by the due date as agreed. You won't find a good story about any of them if you fail to repay.
Okay, not the boldest or biggest text in the World but here it is on their site:0 -
Thanks for the warning but I'd rather glue my head to the carpet before using them anyway."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

Oh! no I didn't.
The warning is NOT to take one AT ALL if you are not positive you can pay it back. Nothing about rolling it over for all eternity until the ceiling collapses with absurd charges.
They know they are going to hit you hard, so they warn you first.
ALL
Don't take a payday loan unless you can pay it all back on time.0 -

Horrible company, won't accept letters you send via recorded delivery making it impossible to complain.

Haha - but it is my human right to take out loans I cannot afford to repay and blow the cash on booze 'n' fags. How DARE the loan companies make me do this?! It was clearly THEIR fault for lending money to me with my bad credit history!
Seriously, OP. I am sorry for the situation in which you have found yourself - but you are unlikely to get anywhere with MiniCredit on this. Best wishes. x
P.S. Why should God beware of MiniCredit? I may be wrong, but I'm fairly sure the Almighty has no need of a payday loan. I'm guessing the Angels are good for a few quid in a tight spot...0
