I got a nice silicone bundt cake mould in M&S sale. Please does anyone have a recipe that doesn't use a ready cake mix. I had a search but couldn't find anything. Many thanks.

Bundt cake is just the shape of the pan, it isnt a specific recipe. You can make any cake a bundt cake.0

Americans make a lot of Bundt cake. (The film "My Big fat greek wedding" springs to mind)
I was also told that it is the shape of the caketin which gives it it's name, but if you search for bundt on allrecipes .com I'm sure there will be some recipes there.

There are definitely some good recipes on this forum - I remember reading a German recipe that looked well worth trying.

Angel cake is made in a similar shape mould to bundt cake, and they are usually fat free or very low fat too, which of course means you can eat more! :jIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

It was reduced to £3. Don't know the original price I'm afraid. I was loving the fancy one in Lakeland but couldn't justify the space. Going to try this tonight. Thank you all so much.0 -
I bought a silicone bundt cake tin from M&S the other week too. Tonight I made a mango cake. After an hour I poked it in three different places and it appeared to be cooked, so I turned it out - and it started oozing all over the place so I managed to get it back in and put it back in the oven. It took at least another half hour to cook. It tastes really nice, and I like the idea of a bundt cake, but next time I'm going to stick to my 10" x 8" tin I think. I know where I am with that.0
