Hey guys
Guess i'm just after some sympathy really, i have already cried and still am!
Basically today i was supposed to take my practical driving test, i transferred enough money from paypal to be able to pay my instructor, but all of the money never came through, so i called my friend who doesnt get money until tomorrow and called my grandma and aunt who didnt answer the phone, my test is at 12:38 so i contacted my instructor to say that i can give him half today and half tomorrow, he then said that he couldnt do it.
I have had to call dsa and tell them that i am too ill to do my test! i'm so ann9oyed, i now realise if had a contingency fund this would never had happened! its so frustrating as now i will have to spend 200+ to rebook and have more lessons which i really can['t afford, its been a miracle how i have been funding it before now!
i give up! rant over!
I know its not the end of the world but i'm really upset with myself!

I feel for you...passing the test is a very expensive business!
My driving instructor was actually too ill for my test - I ended up cramming all the reverse moves in a different car in a 24 hour period and overheating the car! Was crapping myself on the test but managed to pass. I had previously failed 3 due to nerves.
I think there is always some mishaps when learning to drive and trying to get through that 45 minutes of nerve racking hell...but stick at it - it is well worth it.
Very best of luck for next time! (BTW - 12 week minimum wait in our area for re-bookings! Hope yours is sooner!)

its not sooner, it was a 4 month wait when i booked, this is my 3rd test, i got this by literally sitting on the internet searching for cancellations best part of the day
feel so sad, my instructor knows exactly where i live, he could of just said o.k, now he gets no money, not sure if he will charge me for a cancellatio or not! he phoned me and basically had nothing to say! lol breathe! i know its not his fault its mine! paypal usually transfer my funds within 2 days if i transfer on the monday its there by the wed, this time transferred on the saturday, so fully expected it to be there, i'm just gonna go to harvester and console myself! feel so huffy! lol Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Please don't take this the wrong way as it is meant in your best interests, but
Should you be spending more money going out if you aren't managing on what you have at present?
Sure, it's to cheer yourself up, I understand that but sounds a bit like you may be sailing a bit close to the wind?
Good luck with the re-test anyway.
