If your loan application had sentences as long as the ones you posted on here I would decline it LOL

Before your rush into buying a car, make sure that you check out the insurance costs as you only passed your test in April. You are going to be paying a lot more than £300 in insurance.

You might want to get over to the insurance Board and have a look at some of the tips to save money.

Also don't know what sort of car you are thinking of, but possibly consider a small estate (which will house the buggy in the boot area and make it easy to get in and out) rather than a professional mother's car of Galaxy or similar, which will cost you a lot more to insure!

(We call them professional mother's cars because there are some mums in our area, who as soon as they are pregnant swap their car for a monster, even though they have one tiny baby and a buggy that will go in the boot of a Corsa)!! :rotfl:

Why not buy a cheap car?

What about a lease ? A short term one which you can use and then should you come into difficulty paying then you can return? All your car maintenance and tax is included which helps prevent the added suprise costs of a car.

It's not ideal, but if you need a car so badly it could be a good way forward.

I'd imagine that having 3 children so young, who will be in the car when she's driving it, the OP probably needs a car which is as reliable as possible and unlikely to break down on her?
