Get their address from the letters they have sent you (The debt collection agency) and send them a postal order each month, on the envelope put FAO the collections manager, send it recorded so you have proof they recieved it, and put a letter in stating that this is the only way you can pay them.

Just make sure you put your reference in with the postal order too, or ask if you can pay money into their account via the post office. I think you're wise not to give them any card details!

You also need to get them to put in writing that the payment plan is ok and agreed and will be full and final if you stick to the payment schedule you agree. Perhaps CCCS (free charity) can help do this and make it all official and formal? Worth checking out.

Congrats on getting your life back on track and trying to sort everything out, by the way, tough but worth it!

It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
