Help with salary calcs needed- please!!

Ok, so I've just got another job at college (yeay me!) but I'm having trouble working out how much I'm going to get as I haven't got contracts yet. I seem to have a mental block cos they're both part time and term time only.

First job is 11.5 hours per week for 37 weeks, paid over 12 months. Salary is £25,400 FT (40 hour week)

Job 2 is 80% of £18,900, again for 37 weeks, paid over 12 months.

Every time I work if out I seem to get a different answer. Aaaargh!

I just want to know my monthly pay and approximate take home(before TPS and student loan)

TIA

Is the £25,400 salary based on someone working 40 hours for 52 weeks or 40 hours for 37 weeks? Same question for job 2.

    11.5 / 40 * 25400 / 52 * 37 = £5196

    0.8 * 18900 / 52 * 37 = £10758

    £5196 + £10758 = £15954

Using http://www.thesalarycalculator.co.uk/salary.php that's £1101 take home per month.

Same college so it doesn't count as 2 jobs. Just 2 contracts. IYSWIM?

Thanks for that. I can now work out how much I can use for snowballing my c/cards :D
