Loan Dispute
Please help. I took a loan from RBS over 10 years ago. According to my records the last payment to them was due in 2009, which I duly made. They have just contacted me and told me that I had another year to pay! I have asked for a copy of the agreement (as I no longer have mine!) and they have not got a copy of the agreement.....what can I do?? They are effecting my credit rating! Thanks

Did you ever miss payments on the loan?
If you don't have your agreement what records do you have that say that it would be finished in 2009?
Have you asked for a full statement of account?
Have you formally requested a copy of your credit agreement and sent them the £1 fee?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Did you you stop your direct debit or did they?
