Seeking a very simple spreadsheet

Options
Hello there

I'd like to use a spreadsheet to record incomings and outgoings. I am not great in Excel so the simpler the better. I'd be very grateful if anyone could send or recommend one.

Thanks!

  • have you had a look at the budget planner on here ( its just above the posts under step by step guides) I find it great but it only works in Excel. If anybody could point me in the right direction of a good one that works with open office I would be grateful :D

  • The budget planner on here seems so big to me, the one I did for myself is all on one page in excell and works ok for me!

    HI there

Thanks very much jm28cardiff for the spreadsheet - it does look really simple and just what I was hoping for, I will use it starting January 1st.

I have used the Budget Planner from the site and found it really useful for comparing income and expenditure (and scaring my OH into a semi lightbulb moment). But unless I'm missing something you can't use it for seeing where you're at month on month without downloading it lots of times. jm28's is more useful for this purpose as it's all in one file and you can see where you're at week on week - highly recommended!

Thanks again and happy new year one and all

  • Thanks Seaxwyn! I dont know if theres any way I can put my spreadsheet in a post for people to see, even if its just a screengrab to show what it looks like?
