Glasgow Hogmanay event cancelled

Just in case anyone was planning to go, the Council have just cancelled the main event in George Square due to the weather.

It's horrible here in Edinburgh too - no news about cancellation in Princes Street yet though.

I'm glad I'm staying in tonight!!!

    Thats a shame, they cancelled Edinburgh a couple of years back too. I am staying in tonight, the weather is miserable, and I wont spend any money if I am at home. Plus Still Game is on, and its really funny!

    Sob sob !! I had tickets for Glasgow and was really looking forward to it until I saw the weather today. Never mind a nice quiet night in instead humph!!
