Reassurance please! Santander mortgage

We applied for a Santander mortgage via a broker early last week. We were put on / allocated a Fast Track application.
They have now come back and asked for some additional paperwork/information.
Is this normal?
Obviously we have provided what they have asked for, but I am just getting a bit twitchy that an offer isn't going to materialise.
Also, now that this has been requested, does it mean we are no longer Fast Track?

A percentage of fast track applications are checked to ensure they aren't an attempt to get a mortgage without proof of income. It sounds like yours has been pulled at random for checking.
As long as the information on the application and the information on your documentation matches you'll have no problem.I am a mortgage broker.
