Your wedding rocks! And I don't think I have ever heard of anyone of actually being in profit from their wedding??! !!!!!!! amazing!!
Just a question on hiring your disco - was there a company you used? I was actually thinking of doing this myself but haven't been able to find anything yet

Kimig - I just want to say you are officially my inspiration :j
Frutstatingly I am on my lunch break at work and can't see any of your pictures but I plan on logging on the minute I get home!
Me and my OH also have large families (we are looking at 120 ish guests, although this does include a fair few children!) and we are trying to do the whole thing for less than £2k! I know it might not happen but I am determined to do what I can!
I have found my dress (didn't really want anything traditional so it's an ex stage costume, but it's stunning!) and it cost me £90, it will need altering, but I am hoping to get a family friend to do this for me.
We are quite lucky in that we have a family member who is a DJ so that's free, and another family member with a catering business, who we are paying, but who is doing us a good rate! (we are only having a buffet).
I have found a photographer who'll do the whole day for £260, and I have no doubts that he is reliable and completely capable.
Our biggest expense is also our ceremony - we aren't getting married in a church, but to me a registry office wasn't big enough and I had no interest in getting married in a hotel! So a lovely old building in our city (which is a museum) is our venue choice - we too can have drinks after (only for an hour though). The museum costs £550 and we have to buy the drinks and pay the registrar on top of that! Well worth it though, I'm only doing this once! And my reception is in a village hall (£140 from 9 am to 12pm including 4 hours bar service!) so I think I've made up for it there:rotfl:
I plan on making my own paper flowers, favours, decorations and invites and will keep on money saving wherever I can!
Thanks again for your inspiring post :T
Trying to be good and watch the pennies, but guilty of falling off the wagon every so often!
