'Which UK companies can you haggle best with?' poll

In light of the recently announced BT line rental price increase, i thought it time to look at alternatives. and to cut a short story even shorter I was paying:
BT line rental £15.65 per month (inc evening and weekend calls and paperless discount)
BT broadband £17.00 per month

and after asking for my MAC number i was offered:-
BT line rental £13.90 per month (inc evening and weekend calls)
BT broadband £8.00 per month

I've had to agree to a 12 month contract and the discount will end after 12 months but i didn't have to hagge, just asked for my MAC number and told them i planned to swap to plusnet.
