A friend of mine just had a baby 2 weeks ago and got the Mamas and Papas Zoom. They have a shop in Victoria Square. This is the Zoom:

I would recommend McCulloughs in Bangor, Excellent range of all types.

There's Sandra's Nursery Corner on the Shore Road.
I know people who've bought their car seats from there and they had a good range.

Theres a samuel johnsons - baby store around the corner from Castlecourt and you always have mothercare stores - just go and look though - pick one you like and then find out if you can get it cheaper online and do a price match - if mothercare stock it online they'll price match and refund £10 voucher - and also Samuel Johnson price match - we bought a jane energy stroller there for our hols and they price matched it - its really worth having a look and then going home and checking the cheapest place to buy ( you don't have to buy it there but it does give you room for negotiating) hth

    Congrats on baby

I second Samuel Johnson's. Lovely staff and very knowledgeable. Found Mothercare to be a bit touch and go. I've been to 'Sandra's Nursery Land of Despair' before and found the parking poor and the staff rude. As a company perk we get a free voucher for there and not a single one of my colleagues has had a good experience there. Rude staff, damp smell.
