Putting in an offer today... HELP!

I think I've got my head around all the mortgage stuff now but it's come time where we are to put an offer in for a house.
We have a deposit of £10k and have a mortgage application in progress with halifax (our advisor suggested this as we could take advantage of the vendor gifted deposit providing we started our application before today).
What should I expect from our meeting today? She said we'd iron out the details of the house we wish to purchase and also the mortgage deal.
Are there any important questions to ask today or details to sort out that a FTB may not think about?

If you have a good advisor they should talk you through everything and explain everything so you can understand.
The best thing to probably remember is you have until your mortgage starts to arrange insurance's etc, so don't just jump in and do what ever they tell you. Think about what you need and what is most important to you.
