I bought a Kenwood Premier Chef & it has been sat unused for about 4 months
I really want to be using it every day, so would love to hear how everyone uses theirs

I do my bread in it in the morning whilst I am pottering about. I make smoothies for the kids, crepe or pancakse batter, meringues, pesto, liquidise tinned tomatoes and soup. I probably don't use it every day, but definitely three or four times a week. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Can I ask for your bread recipe, please?0 -
I keep mine out on the worktop so it is easy to use when I need to-I think if it was hidden away I'd be less likely to get it out for a small use. I don't use it everyday (I did bake bread every day for a while, but as there is only 2 of us, that lead to a 5kg weight gain lol) But I make cookies, cakes, brownies, blitz veg for soffritto, liquidize stuff for sauces/soups (I love jamie olivers 30 min meals, so that uses FP and liquidiser a far bit)
I know you didn't ask me, but my v basic bread recipe is 500g flour (either white or 50:50 granary) 7g sachet yeast, teaspoon salt, and approx 300mls tepid water (I say approx as you sometimes need more, sometimes less-dough should be moist without being overly sticky, and not dry or stiff)0 -
I also leave mine out on work surface, I don't think i would use it as much if I had to get it out of the cupboard.
In the last 2 days i have used mine to make pizza dough, bread, 2 cakes, cookies and yorkshire pudd batter. I tend to batch cook during school holidays and never make just one of something when I can make two at the same time and freeze one. I find that the large capacity of the bowl is great for this. ~This thread has made me feel like baking so of to look at recipes for inspiration........Fibro-Warrior0 -

Snap,I bought one of these and yet I still tend to just grab my hand mixer or stick blender for convenience.
I've tried using it but still prefer my hand tools,I'd like to be convinced but think in my case its going to be an expensive waste as I just can't seem to incorporate the Kenwood into my daily or even my weekly routine.0 -
