Just been to my local Homebase (Meadowhall) for some tile grout (groan) and whilst I was there theyw ere reducing their Xmas stock further. ALL their Xmas trees are now down to £4...including the pre-lit 6ft St Moritz one which was on sale for £79.99 before Xmas! Needless to say people were walking out with several for family/friends etc. Also their indoor lights (both 150 and 250 packs) are now just £1 (from £29.99 and £39.99 respectively). Went in for some tile grout, came out with 2 Xmas trees and several packs of indoor lights but forgot to get the &*^%$£ grout!!! Had to go back!!

Thanks for that - we bought it at £49.99 ( St Moritz 6ft pre lit) - they price matched Argos for us, but quite a lot of the bulbs have gone and they cannot be replaced. Will return it and try and get a cheepy one!No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

our local one had reductions, but not as low as some people have found elsewhere. One thread mentioned wrapping paper at 10p, but in ours today still going through till at 49p for example. Trees roughly a tenner.
Did notice a pile of weeping willow lighted trees, no price. Quite fancy one, does anyone know what they were going for? They were about 5 feet high.0 -
Stamford Branch - all trees still at £15.99
Apparently reductions are at discretion of individual store (manager) dependant on stock levels.0 -
it's open today..that's what they said to me it's managers discretion on the prices....The paper is good though 49p a roll plus 3 for 2....None left in doncaster now though0
