Bosch diswasher recall & Northern ireland?

Hi folks,
Has anyone successfully has their dishwasher repaired under the Bosch dishwasher recall?
http://www.repairaction.co.uk/

Our dishwasher broke & it turns out it was the part that has been setting itself on fire. If we lived in GB then a repairman would be around and fix it but Bosch customer service when I rang them had the cheek to suggest that this does not apply to machines in NI.
Starting the process now of finding the right person to 'discuss' this with further.
Anyone had any success? Part is a component behind the buttons.

Ridiculous attitude from Bosch. If they are happy to sell their products here then they should be happy to service them.

Sorry I've no useful advice whatsoever but hope you get this sorted.

    Hi Folks,
Well I think we are nearly there, after various chats with Bosch customer service back and forth who promised to return my calls once they had spoken to their managers and who at one point claimed the recall was not applicable in NI due to the electricity voltage used here () I now have a reference number which the local Bosch agents seem happy to take.
They will apparently be calling me back in a couple of days so fingers crossed.
    Cheers,

sorry can't help you bobcat, but I only buy £150-£200 machines from now on and I never buy the extra warrenty. I'm on my 3rd year now with an indesit and once it breaks its going in the skip. Think the whole big brand thing and their parts and service is a scam. If I get 2 years out of a £150 machine I'm happy.

the control panels are wile for blowing up these days, and their expensive to get fixed.

sorry for the rant, but I find its money well spent.
