Neutralising BBQ smells

My neighbours are obsessed with BBQs! Nearly every day this summer they've had one.

The smoke gets into our small flat and everywhere smells; even with the windows closed the smell gets in the vents.

Is there anything I can do to neutralise it? I've tried scented candles and air freshener but they're not enough.

got any fans? aim them at an open window when the neighbours bbq. hopefully, it will blast the smell out before it can get in! IYSWIM. otherwise, the next day try using an incense burner - they last about 20 mins or so of intense perfume and can often work where a quick squirt of air freshener doesnt, (especially if you close up the room while burning the incense - loads of lovely fragrances to choose from (a tip here - dont buy the ones from pound shops, they are horrible! look in new age shops or online.
