After reading & sometimes taking advantage of the collective knowledge of you MSE's out there, (Well a very few of you anyway) I posted my very first post today & saved a few bob over the last year. Thanks to all of you & especially Martin - without whom this site would not be what it is.

All the best all. My first year as a MSE'r and I've saved thousands. It really is a group effort though and although Martin deserves great respect and thanks - I think he'll be the first to admit he owes a lot to others as well.

There really are some great characters on here. :T

What a thoughtful post OP, and everyone else.

Martin hasd it licked when he said on a weekly email a few weeks ago that the site had finally become 'symbiotic' in that people were helping each other and the site was generating savings and help and support for it's users and becoming a point of reference for us all. It has obviously grown enormously since it was first started.

Well done EVERYONE who has helped in it's creation, upkeep, input and support.
