Mortgage a "tenant in common" property

I own 50% of a property with my sister and wondered if I would be able to raise a mortgage on my share.

Nope. You can raise a mortgage only on the whole property with your sister as a joint applicant only.

Thank you for an easy question. We often get a life history on here before the point is actually reached. Succinctness rules. :D;)
