Changing my user name

I joined a while ago but have only just got the confidence and time to begin putting posts on some of the forums. I'm reluctant to because my user name is to similar to my actual name. I'd like like to change my user name to something more anonymous but can't work out how to do it. Is it possible or do I need to join again with a different username?

Generally usernames cannot be altered once an account is set up. But in instances where you have used your e-mail address as your username please e-mail webmaster@moneysavingexpert.com with your current username and preferred username (with alternatives) for it to be changed to at our discretion.

They will change it if your username is your name. Just explain it to them.
