Stormont Park

Hi could anyone advise is Stormont Park a good day out for kids age
11yrs to 15yrs. Have never been and looking for some new places to go for days out over the hols.

    I would say Yes if you haven't been before. There is a big play park which they may be on the edge of being to old for but they will have a charge about for a while. The grounds of Stormont are great for a walk about. Make sure you go right to the top of the glen to the left of the main building. Really nice walk. Lots of picnic benches for lunch. Lastly there is loadsa space for playing football, frisbee etc etc etc..

    PS if you like walking Redburn forest park is about 5 minutes from Stormont and again is really scenic. Bit of a steep walk to the top but only takes about 15 minutes to get up and well worth it for the views over Belfast. Again great for a picnic.
