I applied to switch my soon to expire O2 contract to Vodafone yesterday and have been told today that I can get into trouble as I recently agreed to a DMP. Is this correct?
I havent even heard if I the contract has been accepted , I was told by an adviser that a DMP would not affect the decision so stupidly applied. surely i will be ok as have always paid my £25 per month exist contract and there is no change to the payment?

If the cost does not increase then it shouldn't cause a problem to your DMP.
Whether you will be accepted by vodaphone will presumably depend on what is currently on your credit file (some people enter a DMP with a perfect record of having paid everyone back on time up to that point, other people have numerous defaults already).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
