weekly targets

I have decided to set myself weekly financial targets during 2007 to help me manage money better. I am good at new years resolutions, but need help to keep them, so rather than big ones like "pay off my debts" I am breaking it down to weekly ones that will help me do this.
For this week, it is
Transfer my balance on BoS to existing Halifax 0%
Send bank letter to reclaim my charges
Some weeks the goals wont be as big, such as Add up my copper tin and send CC co a cheque, finding time to check through mt bank statements etc.
I think this will help me keep on track, as well as visiting these boards.
Happy new year.

I can only see one problem, I assume by BoS you mean Bank of Scotland - the problem here is Halifax now own Bnak of Scotland (HBOS) and as such would be seen as an internal transfer (which no lender will allow)
No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

no idea what my nerdnumber is - i am now officially nerd 229, no idea on my debt free date
  • OH yes, thanks, I didnt think of that! Maybe I could ask them and if they wont do 0% I can pay off BoS with windfall transfer Virgin card to Halifax!
