Thank You letters Any Ideas?

I was looking for ideas for a suitable rhyme or sentiment to put inside a Thank you card that I am making for 2 DS (8 & 5) Christmas Thank you cards, and also DS birthday ones.

I have taken a nice Christmas photo of them and got it printed with Thank You on it from Snapfish and a good one taken on DS birthday (3days before Christmas). I have got photo wallets to put them in.

I am just stuck for something to put in them now. I have went through the full range of Thank You over the years and just wondered if anyone had a good ditty and rhyme.

We have quite a lot to send out ( about 40 in total for bday and Christmas) so was good to print it on to a sticker and get the kids to write who it is to and to sign it as it will be next Christmas otherwise!!

last year we bought some thank you cards that had tick boxes which the child could mark according to the present. It went something along the lines of

Dear ..........................

Thank you for your present, I have

....... eaten it

........ played with it

......... paid it in the bank

Love From ...............


This made it really easy for my son to fill in and was quite fun.

I know this isn't exactly what you asked for but could be something a little different for the inside of your card.

I'm not sure whether this will be of any help. I've helped the children make thank-you cards like this, at the bottom of the page,to send out. The only problem is you need to have saved this years cracker jokes to do it!

Or look up a site for corny jokes, print loads on a sheet of paper with a little border and print them yourself.:D
