Okay, not sure if this is the done thing but I wanted to post my thanks to the people here whose ideas have helped me get added Christmas presents for cheap or free and whose inspiration has made me realise that I can budget for Xmas 2007 and probably won't end up struggling in Jan 2008 to pay it off.
This year I burned CDs for my best friend as well as wrapping up a few bargains that I know she'll love and which earned me piggypoints. I made a photo album for my mum and wrapped a nice frame with pictures of me and my sis and my parents for my Grandparents - saved me a lot and I knew that they would like this more than the unwanted chocs or smellies that I usually resort to.
Next year people are going to get Pots of Gold which I didn't get a chance to do this year and hopefully I will get around to learning to knit so that I can make scarves for a few people too (hoping that my sis will like this idea).

I would also like to add thanks too for the inspiration on this forum for hampers. I made a movie night in box for brother, with DVD box set, popcorn, mini cans coke, minstrels, DIY nacho and salsa set. Hubby made an instruction sheet - brother loved it - so thanks. Also made a quiz night in pack, with Who wants to be a millionaire dvd game, mini bottle of Champagne for the winner, a few mini bottles of wine and some nibbles. Again hubby made an instruction sheet complete with Chris Tarrants piccy - it too went down a storm. SO thanks to all contributors for your ideas. No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:
