Old address on credit report?

Hi,
About a year ago I sent for my £2 credit report, and an old address was on there from 16 years ago.
I was reminded about it when I received some junk mail sent to this old address. The people who live there sent it to us.
Can I get it taken off my credit file now?
Thanx
Candy.

No you cant get it taken of your credit file- it's a history of the addresses that you are linked to. It could only be removed if you had never had a connection to this address.0
