Free ham in Tesco!

Options
further to my post about free grapes in Sainsburys this morning (moved to shop but don't drop, don't know why - def a grabbit before they realise!)
My Tesco had reduced loads of sliced ham packs from £11ish down to £4ish. Happily they are also taking £5 off if you buy a fresh ham pack! Got 4 - £44 quids worth of ham and they paid me!

this is not in all stores though, it just depends if yours has that particular item on reduction that day due to expiring sell by dates. That will obviously vary greatly from store to store depending on how much or little unsold stock they have.

This line is left over christmas stock - So it will vary greatly between stores, I wouldn't expect many people to be able to find this in their local store especially with a RTC lable on it but hey if you do then fair play;)

  • I have a couple in the fridge with todays date on, can't eat any more, cat can't eat any more, can I freeze it?

Shouldn't ham last a long time? This could have only been on the shelves for a few weeks. Could the relatively short selby be there to push xmas sales?

I also got a large gammon. I cut it into 3 fairly biggish pieces and froze 2. We had the other one on Friday. mmm lovely.
