New Look freebie with spend

Not sure if this is the right place for this one. An assistant at New Look talked me into a store card (so I could get 15% off my Xmas outfit and pay it off in full when I got the statement) and its just arrived with a scratch card offer.... I now get a pair shoes up to £25 free when I next spend £20 on my card - and pay it off in full of course!!

heya, i work at New Look and we've had this offer going for a while. You were told right, the vouchers for your shoes get sent to you after opening a store card. I dont know about the shop you were in, but in my shop if you get another voucher on top - spend £15 and get a free pair of jeans.
I think its so people keep using their card, rather than just opening one getting the discount and leaving it. I wouldnt know though, dont have any store cards and get 50% off everything for working there.

Alot of problems happened when new look changed the card or card company - my friend 4got to change her card and she had to apply again and was turned down. also ive heard that sometimes whenm their systems down anybody with even the worst credit history can get accepted. I wish i get 1 of those days- im envious now really want a free pair of shoes!

Now that they have started selling men's clothes as well I might go in and sign up for one! Can you return items bought on the card even if it is linked to the voucher offer? So if I bought something on the card, claimed my free shoes, and then returned the original item, I would be able to keep the shoes?
